How to connect

Copy the OpenFolio URL
Click the copy button. You'll need it in the next step.

Open Settings → Connectors
Add a custom connector, name it OpenFolio and paste the URL.

Connect and sign in
Click Add → Connect, sign in with your OpenFolio account — you're all set, then just ask Claude about your portfolio.
Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and any MCP-compatible client. Prefer a static key for scripts? Create one in Settings → API keys & AI access and pass it as a Bearer token.
Ask it things like
What's my CGT position for FY25-26?Which parcel-selection method saves me the most tax?How much franking credit have I earned this year?What are my largest holdings by cost base?

| get_unmatched_sells | Sells with no matching buy record — a data-quality check for CGT. |
| get_cost_base | Per-holding cost base register with individual parcels. |
