Connecting Webull to OpenFolio

Use Webull CSV imports today and follow the API connection path as it moves through beta.

By OpenFolio Support

CSV is the supported path today

The current Webull workflow is file-first. Export your Webull trade records as a CSV, then import the file into OpenFolio from the broker import flow. This keeps the setup predictable while OpenFolio expands direct connection coverage.

A Webull CSV should include the trade details needed for portfolio and tax records, including filled quantities, prices, fees and currencies where available. After upload, OpenFolio shows a parsed preview so you can confirm the rows before they affect your holdings.

API access is in beta

OpenFolio is working on Webull API support for investors who want a more connected workflow. Until that connection is generally available, CSV imports remain the accurate supported method for bringing Webull history into your portfolio.

If you plan to use the API later, still keep your CSV exports. Historical files are useful for reconciliation, backfilling older trades and checking that connected data matches your broker records.

Import Webull history

Start with the earliest trade history you need, especially if you have sold positions that were bought in an earlier year. Missing buy records can lead to unmatched sells and incomplete CGT estimates.
